Jesus died BEFORE the Sabbath started. Therefore, the completed work of Christ is both creation in Genesis and re-creation on the cross, both time periods happen before the Sabbath began and both instances the Sabbath rest became the center of the completed work. Heb. 3 and 4.

God’s people will experience the same as it relates to the ministry period of 1290 days in Dan. 12:11 and an additional 45 days =1335 days, Dan. 12:12 God desires a completed people in Him, Col. 1:27; John 17: 23-26.
The open and closed door of Daniel 9:24-26 at Christ’s death
The open and shut door concept is based upon Isa. 22:22 and quoted again in Rev. 3:8 verbatim. The concept is fairly clear describing God opening a door that in the past was closed but now open. And as He opens the new door the old door is close behind. In other words, there is movement with God based upon present truth within time and space.
For example, the last week in Dan. 9:26, 27 describes the last week where Jesus death caused the oblation and sacrifices to cease. Since he died in the middle of that 70th week we can break the time period into 1260 days (3 ½ years) before Jesus’ death and 1260 days after his death.
At the death of Christ on the Passover the curtain was ripped in the temple that divided the holy place and most holy place signifying the end of sacrifices. Even though the system ended in the middle of the week and God gave 1260 days afterward for the Jews to realize what had happened where many Jews and priests were converted, it did not mean that any sacrifices were still valid after the death of Christ. That is why the curtain in the temple was torn, ceasing sacrificial intervention. Therefore, a door was opened for people to walk through into the holy place in heaven and a door of sacrifices was shut. Those who stayed behind in the sacrificial system (the outer court) were in total darkness. Even prior to the end of the sacrificial system by Christ death the Jewish people had lost the meaning of the sacrifices. See Isa. 66:1-6 Isaiah even goes to say that the continuing of senseless and ceaseless sacrifices can become delusional, especially since the heart was not changed.
Therefore we have 1260 days prior; open door = sacrifices were still necessary and then that door closed and the new door = Christ’s priestly ministry opened. Following present truth at the time was essential and crucial to following Christ into the Sanctuary. “For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us,” Heb. 9:24.

“I saw that Jesus had shut the door of the holy place, and no man can open it; and that He had opened the door into the most holy, and no man can shut it (Revelation 3:7,8); [SEE PAGE 86. SEE ALSO APPENDIX.] and that since Jesus has opened the door into the most holy place, which contains the ark, the commandments have been shining out to God's people, and they are being tested on the Sabbath question. I saw that the present test on the Sabbath could not come until the mediation of Jesus in the holy place was finished and He had passed within the second veil; therefore Christians who fell asleep before the door was opened into the most holy, when the midnight cry was finished, at the seventh month, 1844, and who had not kept the true Sabbath, now rest in hope; for they had not the light and the test on the Sabbath which we now have since that door was opened. Holy Place 1844 Most Holy Place

The holy place becomes desolate and the most holy is now occupying with God’s people beginning in 1844 which in turn is the last movement before the movement into heaven itself.
Rev. 3:7 describes this door to the Philadelphia church relating to 1844. The Protestant reformation was a movement to present the truth of God’s grace that saves through faith alone vs. salvation through works. Current light against the darkness of the Catholic/Papal belief system became an outright declaration of war against the reformers who became the Protestors/Protestants. Therefore, it was just a matter of time that Satan would shift his idea to occupy the holy place prior to 1844. It took awhile and the church finally admitted that Luther was correct in 2014 -2017. Tony Palmer stated in his address in 2014 that the wound was healed, and that the acceptance of grace only by the Catholic Church was the accepted on the 500th anniversary of Luther’s thesis being nailed to the church in Wittenberg. Therefore, the Holy Place was finally occupied by Satan.
The next move is that Satan will try to invade the most holy place, but will not be successful because the 144,000 and those who would rather die for the truth than live for a lie will not allow Satan to sway their decision on truth even if it costs their lives. Jesus said, “fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Satan may be able to kill the body but he can’t touch the soul, but rather fear God who can do both.
